Ans:
Validity period for registering to ‘Pragati - EWYL’ Program
Registration to ‘Pragati – EWYL’ program is from 3rd September 07 to 18th October 07.
Validity of the Pragati Gift Voucher
Gift Voucher is valid on purchase of Tally9/Upgrades to Tally 9 on or before 31st December,
2007.Though the registration to ‘Pragati – EWYL’ program ends on 18th October 07, Pragati
registered students can facilitate sale of Tally products until 31st December, 2007.

Q5. Are there any specific TallyAcademies who are eligible to participate in Pragati?
Ans: All the Tally Academies are eligible to participate in Pragati.
Q6. If I do not belong to 27 cities, what kind of marketing support will be provided by Tally?
Ans: Tally will provide marketing collaterals and sales enablement to students. However local
marketing activities such as newspaper ads, college visits, setting up of kiosks, promotions, radio
ads etc. are to be carried at your end.
Q7. What is the role of TallyAcademy during Pragati?
Ans: During the period of Pragati scheme, Tally Academy will
Enrol students for TFAP / TFAC.
Create interest in the student for Pragati – EWYL. On receiving student’s consent, it will register
the student for ‘Pragati – EWYL’.
Provide a Pragati Student Registration form and collect the completed form.
Based on details provided in the Pragati Student Registration form, it will register the student
for ‘Pragati – EWYL’ on the TallyAcademy portal.
Capture the Pragati Gift Voucher numbers on the Pragati Students Registration Form and on
TallyAcademy portal.
The ‘Pragati – EWYL’ representative will capture the Gift voucher details.
The ‘Pragati – EWYL’ representative will capture the registration and payment details on the
TallyAcademy portal. The ‘Pragati – EWYL’ representative will then capture the Pragati student
registration number on the student’s badge and handover the same to the student.
The ‘Pragati – EWYL’ representative will handover the sales kit to the student.
The ‘Pragati – EWYL’ representative advises the student to login to Student Portal using their
registration number as username and password and confirms the payment instruction.
Also inform the student about online sales facility for the customers.
Q8.Who will be responsible for facilitating sales through students?
Ans: The DCP will be facilitating the sale of products through the students enrolled for Pragati-
EWYL by
Circulating the schedule for sales orientation to students and organise the same at intervals
and locations convenient to the student, ideally at the TallyAcademy itself.
Completing the sales for customers who contact them to redeem Pragati Gift voucher.
Q9. What are the roles and responsibilities of TIPL in Pragati?
Ans:
Facilitate high density demand generation activities in 27 cities.
Depute team leaders for kiosk activity.
Depute representative for college presentation.
Align DCP and TallyAcademy relationship.

Q11. How will I get my staff trained for Pragati and create the necessary awareness?
Ans: All the necessary documents to create awareness of Pragati will be circulated from TIPL Head
Office to the respective Regional Offices. The Regional office will provide the necessary training for
the Academy. It is the sole responsibility of TallyAcademy to ensure active participation of all the
staff members by circulating necessary documents and taking feedback from knowledge acquired
by the members on a regular basis. TallyAcademy should acknowledge performance of their team
regularly to raise their motivation levels.
Q12. I don’t have enough manpower, so should I opt out of Pragati?
Ans: We recommend you to consider recruiting new resources. New campaigns and programs will
be launched throughout the year to ensure utilization of all existing resources. Every new campaign
is an additional opportunity for you to grow.
Q13. How much is the TallyAcademy commission against claim of a gift voucher?
Ans: Student reward and TallyAcademy commission for every sale and subsequent gift voucher
claim by DCP is given in the following table.

Q14. What is the process for Pragati EWYL registration?
Ans: When a student enrolls for TFAP/TFAC/both/ACT under college tie-up, during the Pragati
program, they gain the eligibility for ‘Pragati – EWYL’.
Step I: ‘Pragati – EWYL’ representative at the academy provides registration form to the student
Step 2: Student will fill up personal details and payment instructions.
Step 3: ‘Pragati – EWYL’ representative will hand over Sales Kit and 6 Gift Vouchers to the
student.
Step 4: ‘Pragati – EWYL’ representative will complete online registration through the academy
portal.
Step 5: On completion of online registration, Student Registration number is generated which is
noted in the registration form and also on the student badge’
Step 6: ‘Pragati – EWYL’ representative will inform student to use the registration number as user
name and password to access the student portal.
Step 7: ‘Pragati – EWYL’ representative will inform student to confirm payment instruction on the
student portal.
Q15. How do I handle online student Registrations?
Ans: Registrations for Pragati is extremely simple. You need to have a computer with an internet
connection for the Pragati – EWYL representative at the academy. The student registrations can be
done immediately in the student’s presence or subsequently (at the end of the day with the help of
physical registration forms).
Note: Online registration is mandatory to track student enrollment under Pragati.
Q16. Which number is to be entered in the Online registration against Gift Voucher number?
Ans: Pragati gift voucher has 9 digit numbers that is visible as ‘No’ is the Gift Voucher number.
Student is linked with the gift voucher number at the time of ‘Pragati – EWYL’ registration.
Activation code is the scratch part of the gift voucher which is for DCP use and should not be
tampered by the TallyAcademy or the Student. DCP has to provide the 12 digit activation code on
the DCP portal at the time of reimbursement of a claim from TIPL.
Q17. Is it possible to register students online by using dial up connection?
Ans: Yes, online student registrations can be done through dial up connection also.
Q18. What is to be done when a student has already paid an amount of Rs.100 against spot
registration at the kiosk to the other academy?
Ans: In case where the student has already paid Rs.100 at the kiosk to the other academy it is
advisable to provide a concession to the student from the fees. This amount cannot be claimed
from the other academy at the kiosk or TIPL, since the other academy has put in marketing efforts
on your behalf.
Q19. How does the student earn Pragati Rewards?
Ans: It is mandatory for a student to confirm payment instructions in the student portal prior to
claim, in order to be eligible for receiving rewards. Student can earn Pragati Reward by facilitating
sale of Tally 9/Upgrades to Tally 9. Student is entitled for rewards against every redeemed gift
voucher. Student will receive reward payment within 5 working days from the time of claim. Student
is eligible to receive additional gift vouchers equal to quantity redeemed.
Q20. What certificates will the students enrolled in ‘Pragati – EWYL’ receive?

Internship certificate from Tally India Pvt Ltd. (Only for Pragati enrolments).

Q21. In the event of a conflicts who will be the deciding authority?
Ans: Listed below are a few conflict scenarios:
In case, the Pragati Gift vouchers issued to a student are different from what is displayed on
Student Website, then student has to report the discrepancy to the ‘Pragati – EWYL’
representative. ‘Pragati – EWYL’ representative will reassign / reallocate gift voucher.
DCP claim of unassigned vouchers will be flagged as disputed. DCP should contact the
TallyAcademy to assign gift voucher to the student prior to claim. TallyAcademy could be
penalised for non compliance of process.
In case of redemption claim by two DCP’ s for the same Pragati Gift voucher, DCP having the
physical Pragati Gift voucher will be considered for the claim. In case none of the DCPs have
physical Pragati Gift voucher, then neither of them will receive the payments. In this case, the
deciding authority will be Tally India Pvt Ltd,
Q22. How many zones are covered under the TCP – TFAC award scheme and what is the
state-wise distribution for each zone?
Ans: The five zones covered for awarding cash prizes are:
North Zone : Delhi and NCR, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand,
Harayana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh,
Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh.
South Zone : Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Pondicherry, Andaman
and Nicobar.
South Central Zone : Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
East Zone : West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa and all eight
North Eastern States.
West Zone : Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
Q23. How many awards are allotted for each zone and what is the prize money?
Ans: Cash Rewards would be given to top five scorers in the TCP – TFAC test from each zone.
The award shall be declared in 2 Phases.
1st Phase: For exams taken during 3rd September 2007 to 31st December 2007.
2nd Phase: For exams taken during 1st January 2008 to 31st March 2008 .
Prize money in each phase is:
1st prize – Rs. 50,000
2nd prize – Rs. 35,000
3rd prize – Rs. 25,000
4th Prize – Rs. 15,000
5th Prize – Rs. 10,000
Q24. In case of a tie who will be declared as the winner?
Ans: In case of a tie, student who has completed the test first (based on date and time) will be
declared as the winner. In case there is a subsequent tie, the prize amount will be shared.
E.g.: There is a student ‘A’ who completes the test at 10:45 on 15th September 07 .Student ‘B’
completes the test at 12:22 on 19th September 07. Both of them get 91% in the test which is
the top score in the zone. In this case, student ‘A’ will emerge out as the winner as he has
completed the test before student ‘B ’based on both, date and time.
Q25. Is there additional benefit for the TallyAcademy on achieving the TFAC targets?
Ans: On successful completion of tests, the Tally Academy gets a chance to qualify for the
Achievers Award.
Rs. 50,000 for 250 TFAC tests conducted from 3rd September 07 to 31st October 07.
Rs. 22,500 for 150 TFAC tests conducted from 3rd September 07 to 31st October 07.
Rs. 10,000 for 100 TFAC tests conducted from 3rd September 07 to 31st October 07.
Q26. How should we handle college tie ups under Pragati?
Ans: Registration for ACT under College tie up Model (Recommended price 1980 + taxes).
The college sign up fee of Rs. 36,000 (plus Service tax) will be waived off during the Pragati
Program period i.e. between 3rd September 2007 to 18th October 2007. However, the decision
shall be based on a minimum commitment to register 200 students or as decided by the city
head.
College is liable to pay the renewal amount next year which will be 40% of the prevailing
college sign up fee (only the first year sign up is waived off for all Collage Tie-ups during the
Pragati program).
A student registered under college tie up model is also eligible for registering for ‘Pragati –
EWYL’ program and associated TallyAcademy shall facilitate the registrations of such students.
‘Pragati – EWYL’ Registration and sales process will remain same as applicable for regular
‘Pragati – EWYL’
